
Serious foodies and Bobby Flay fans alike gathered at The Metropolitan Cooking & Entertaining Show last month in Atlanta for a unique opportunity to see this popular chef in person at a live cooking demonstration sponsored by Columbia Crest Wines. Flay easily wowed the crowd with his quick wit and made it all seem so easy as he prepared Shrimp and green curry along with a mouth watering seared Rib eye steak. A lively question and answer session from an audience of all age’s ensued during prep time. Each dish was paired beautifully with a Columbia Crest Chardonnay or Merlot.
Shortly thereafter Flay made another appearance for an intimate VIP group hosted by Columbia Crest Grand Estates. Attendees enjoyed a lovely spread of appetizers, Columbia Crest wines and lined up for a photo-op with the revered chef, as he personally signed his latest book “Bobby Flay’s Burgers, Shakes & Fries”. Columbia Crest Grand Estates in partnership with Bobby Flay recently rolled out a new “Cork & Fork” mobile menus cookbook that pair Columbia wines with some of Bobby’s favorite dishes which is currently available on-line.
