Today, November 23rd, 2010, is National Eat a Cranberry Day… but we think it should be “Drink” a Cranberry Day. With that said, what better way to kick start your Thanksgiving than with a cocktail? Here are a couple of low calorie/high antioxidant cocktails you can celebrate with.
Cranberry Smash
2 oz. Square One ™ Botanical Spirit
1.5 oz. Beverage Artistry ™ Cranberry Base, thawed
8-10 mint leaves
1 oz. Lemon Juice
Muddle mint leaves in glass. Add ice, cranberry base and vodka. Stir. Garnish with mint leaves and serve.
Cranberry Sparkle
1 oz. Square One ™ Botanical Spirit
0.5 oz. Perfect Puree ™ Cranberry Base, thawed
0.5 oz. Premium Triple Sec
1 tsp Benedictine
Brut Sparkling Wine
Place all ingredients, except sparkling wine, into a mixing glass. Add ice and shake. Strain into a champagne flute. Top with 1-2 oz. brut sparkling wine and serve.
