Since 1970, Chef Alexander Feher has served up some incredible cuisine for InterContinental hotels across the globe. After working at IHG properties in Beirut, Frankfurt, Dubai, and Tehran, he came to the InterContinental Miami, where he was promoted to Executive Chef and has remained for more than 20 years. In celebration of the chef’s 40th anniversary of service with InterContinental, InterContinental Miami officially launched “Table 40,” a new chef table named to honor Alex Feher. On October 6, 2010, an array of personalities and community leaders including the mayor of Miami, gathered at Table 40 for the inaugural dinner to celebrate Alex’s 40th anniversary as well as InterContinental Miami’s 25th anniversary. Chef Alex prepared an extraordinary menu paired with superb wines.
Throughout his distinguished career, Chef Alex Feher has received numerous awards and honors, beginning with an Olympic gold medal in culinary skill in 1976 at the Culinary Olympics in Frankfurt, Germany.
