Shake up your summer cocktail party with these organic drinks that’s sure to liven up your season’s soiree! Try these delish drinks by Organic Fit Bar.
Luscious and sweet from the berries, mellow and smooth from the rum, the Fresh Berry Rumtini organic cocktail makes antioxidants look and taste amazingly sexy!
– 2 ounces Organic Rum
– 6 Organic Strawberries (medium)
– 6 Organic Blackberries
– 6 Organic Raspberries
– 20 Organic Blueberries
– 1/2 Organic Lime
– 1 ounce Organic Simple Syrup
– lime wheel for garnish
Tools Needed: Juicer*, Cocktail Shaker, Strainer
To prepare the Organic Simple Syrup: Pour 1/3 cup of water and 1/3 cup of Organic Sugar into a sauce pan. Bring to a boil, stirring continuously. Once the sugar has dissolved, remove from heat and let cool.
To make the Fresh Berry Rumtini: Get out that juicer and juice all of the berries together (if you don’t have a juicer, see alternative recipe below). Pour the berry juice into a cocktail shaker and add about 1 cup of ice. Pour 2 ounces of Organic Rum, 1 ounce of Organic Simple Syrup, and squeeze the juice of 1/2 Organic Lime, over the ice. Cover and shake well. Strain the cocktail into a chilled martini glass.
Garnish with a lime wheel.
Health Benefits: Organic Berries are amazingly powerful antioxidants and are an excellent source of vitamins and nutrients wonderful for both mind and body!
Organic Benefit: Non-organic berries are absolutely covered in harmful pesticides and are grown using chemical fertilizers and fungicides. By selecting organic berries, you are protecting your health from dangerous chemicals while also protecting the health of others. In fact, individuals who work in non-organic strawberry fields have nicknamed strawberries “the Devil’s fruit” because of the many health problems caused by the large amount of sprays used to grow them.
Serving Suggestions: The Fresh Berry Rumtini is a sweet cocktail with a tropical flare and has a beautiful color that “pops” at any party or table. If you are making this drink for a cocktail party, juice the berries just prior to guest arrival and store covered in the refrigerator so you have plenty, guests will want more than one!
*Juicer Alternative: If you don’t have a juicer, you can still enjoy this cocktail, but will be missing out on the full health benefits that juiced berries provide. To make the Fresh Berry Rumtini without a juicer: Place all of the berries into a cocktail shaker. Muddle the berries well enough (or use the bottom of a spoon) to release all of the juice from the berries. Add about 1 cup of ice to the shaker. Pour 2 ounces of Organic Rum, 1 ounce of Organic Simple Syrup, and squeeze the juice of 1/2 Organic Lime, over the ice. Cover and shake well. Strain the cocktail into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a lime wheel.

*This cocktail is also amazing served as a martini! If you prefer this, simply strain the mixed cocktail into a chilled martini glass.
Health Benefits: Organic Lemon juice has been known to be a natural fat-burner for centuries and also helps your body with water retention and removes any toxins (remember to drink a water with lemon any post-cocktail mornings). *Meyer Lemons are a variety of lemons that have a sweet side, perfect for cocktails!
Organic Blackberries are very high in fibre, Vitamin C and other wonderful nutrients. Blackberries are great antioxidants and their sweet flavor satisfies the nagging sweet-tooth. So, skip dessert and enjoy this cocktail instead!
Serving Suggestions: Crowd pleasing and beautiful, this organic cocktail will look perfect on the table for a dinner party or special cocktail get-together.
Organic Choice: Citrus fruits and berries are covered in dangerous pesticides and chemical sprays. The Organic Choice ensures top-quality produce that both tastes better and has 50% more nutrition and health benefits that non-organic brands.
On her hit show “Girls Next Door”, Bridget Marquardt debuted her party-planning skills by throwing the best parties at the Playboy Mansion and did so by paying close attention to the details. One of these details, and definitely one of the most important, is what is served to drink? A bad tasting cocktail, wrong combination of alcohol, or lack of creativity can truly make or break a party. For a special occasion, put energy into what is served. Your guests will love it and your party will rock!
Named by Bridget herself as the “Strawberry Blonde”, Organic Fit Bar has created an organic cocktail designed after her favorite combination of lemons, strawberries and vodka (and of course…pink).
– 1 Organic Lemon
– 6 Organic Strawberries
– 1 Ounce Organic Simple Syrup (see recipe below)
– 1 1/2 ounces Organic Vodka
– 1 ounce organic Champagne or Sparkling Wine (Domaine Carneros is a delicious organic sparkling wine produced in Napa, California)
Tools Needed: Juicer, Cocktail Shaker, Cocktail Strainer
To prepare the Organic Simple Syrup: Pour 1 cup of water and 1 cup of Organic sugar into a sauce pan. Bring to a boil, stirring continuously. Once the
sugar has dissolved, remove from heat and let cool. To store, cover and refrigerate.
To Make the “Strawberry Blonde” Organic Cocktail: Juice the strawberries and lemon together (remember to remove the rind of the lemon first). Pour the juice into a cocktail shaker. Add about 1 cup of ice. Pour in 1 ounce of organic simple syrup and 1 1/2 ounces of organic vodka. Cover and shake for 30 seconds.
Strain the cocktail into a pink sugar-rimmed and chilled martini glass (see below). Top off with 1 ounce of organic champagne.
Garnish with an organic lemon wheel.
To create a Pink Sugar-Rimmed Martini Glass: Juice just 1 or 2 strawberries and pour the juice onto a shallow dish. Add enough organic sugar to absorb the juice and still stay “clumpy”. Run the rim of the martini glass in circles around the dish until well coated. Let sit for a few minutes to dry.
Health Benefits: Organic Lemons are natural fat-burners, low calorie, and are wonderful sources of Vitamin C and Limonene (studies of which have shown to have wonderful anti-cancer effects). In addition, Organic Strawberries are amazing antioxidants and loaded with essential vitamins and nutrients.
Organic Choice: Both Strawberries and Lemons are covered with harmful pesticide sprays, chemical fertilizers and fungicides, most of which remain on
the fruit even after being washed well. Buying organic is really the only way around the nasty chemicals that harm both you and the earth.
Serving Suggestions: The “Strawberry Blonde” organic cocktail has extra special touches that will definitely impress your guests. Between the pink sugar
rimmed glass, the splash of champagne, and delicious flavors, this cocktail is the perfect touch that ensures a delightful celebration.

To make the Organic Bing Cherry Margarita: Remove the pit of 5 organic bing cherries and split them in half. Place the cherries into a cocktail shaker and muddle very well to release the cherry juice. Squeeze the juice of half of an organic lime over the cherries and add 1 cup of crushed ice. Muddle the ingredients together a bit more. Pour 1/2 ounce of organic agave nectar and 2 ounces of organic tequila over the ice. Cover and shake well. Pour the contents into a margarita glass.
Garnish with a beautiful bing cherry by slicing it on the bottom just a bit and placing on the lip of the glass.
