Hot Apple Rum

Introduced this fall, Sugar Island is a handcrafted rum made from Caribbean sugarcane whose label depicts a whimsical mermaid, paying homage to the mythical Caribbean island where mermaids were rumored to bring shipwrecked sailors hundreds of years ago. At 92 proof, it offers a balance of natural sugars and spices and is smooth enough to enjoy straight, or strong enough to hold its own in any spiced rum cocktail this holiday season.
1 part Sugar Island Spiced Rum
2 parts apple cider
2-3 slices of orange
3-5 cinnamon sticks
Combine ingredients in a crock-pot and stir; heat up and serve as needed. Garnish with a cinnamon stick.
